In the name of research (again), I can confirm s'hill B@ng0r is still working. Toffee custard & normal orange jelly not working. I actually asked the nice SA to quantity scan then raced to fire in my £1 coin to pay but I was too quick and the SS till swallowed it. Debated telling the SA then figured £1 plus the actual total of 65p for 48 custards was still quite good.

If you have got your custards, please can you check if they are Vegetarian, just checking on .com and only chocolate and banana show that they're Vegetarian, some of the other flavour's either don't or have show no info like that. if glitch is working tomorrow, may have to just stock up on choccie ones as can't bare the thought of banana custard!:D

    TIA

sorry i'm cream crackered and in bed, custards all in a box in garage, i'll try and look in the morning

as far as i remember the blackcurrant jelly defo has a v symbol on

the other flavours i bought (only got a few) were for colleagues at work and xmas party at school for other kids to eat

i remember checking ingredients on the custards and didn't see any obvious ref to animal ingredients but didn't look specifically for the v sign:eek:;):rotfl: i'll take another peek tomorrow, any other experts out there who can advise?

caz i've done that twice before, once with a £1 in the battery glitch when i was stupid enough to tell the SA then realised what a dumb !!! i was as she started taking my name and address (i hastily stuck in another pound and told her not to worry:rotfl:)

other was for jellies bloomin SS till ate my 50p:eek:

trick is to time it just right - get it in fast but not too fast (hope that doesn't sound rude)

    Oh errrrrr missus

I had stashed the £1 coin in my pocket and my purse was still in my handbag so I had to rush and fish out my purse and find another £1 coin. Blooming SS till wouldn't accept it but thankfully I had a £2 one there and it took that. My heart was in my mouth!

I'm running out of room for all these and even though I don't eat them, DS1 loves them and I'm starting to wean DS2 so between 2 young hungry boys and some of the BBE dates being July 2012, I figure some more wouldn't hurt. For the purposes of research (does anyone believe that line any more?) I'll check again tomorrow and report back.

P.S. elliemoo - you are my new BFF for finding this glitch :rotfl: Don't suppose someone can find me a nice glitch on soup seeing how winter seems to be almost upon us?

It is amazing that a week after discovery the glitch is still going. Perhaps it will continue until the offer finishes, someone said this is due 13.9.

No don't say that. I'm all Tesco'd out and am having problems trying to find anything to buy other than custard/rice.

I've had to overflow from the cupboards to on top of the fridge. Any more and my folks will have me committed as the house will resemble that of a hoarder where you have to navigate room to room through corridors of jelly, custard & rice :o 200 custards in 2 days plus 60 jellies and there's still tomorrow hopefully!

My 3 year old thinks we have had a jelly flood like in Ben and Holly!
  • Really sorry to be thick but whilst I was in a Tesco Extra earlier I remembered the postings about jelly and custard. I bought 3 of the custard which scanned at 67p and then showed the reduction making them 3 for a £1.
What is supposed to happen? Did I not buy enough?
    Help.:o
