Happy to report that it's working in WWX Extra store in Th*net - did two shops and bought 36 in each, the total for all 72 at the full price of 67p each should have been £46.23 and the till took off £48.48 altogether, so just over £2 available to set against other shopping.
My heart was in my mouth though as the deductions only seem to come off right at the very end and not as they are scanned - went to a manned checkout both times and the first young girl SA seemed very curious as to how I'd managed to get £24.24 in savings - I just mumbled that they were on special offer and got out fast! The second SA, also a young girl, hadn't got a clue!
They had loads left on the shelf and also in a big metal cage thingy at the end of the section.
I'm not usually lucky with glitches, but I've had this one and the batteries one - perhaps the person who usually clears the shelves at WWX is away on holiday!!
My DS won't believe his eyes when he comes home!0
