Win a JVC Widescreen TV & Psychotherapy Sessions to combat your phobias in association with the DVD release of the 'nerve shredding' Adrift.

The sessions will take place with Harley Therapy a counselling and psychotherapy practice based in Central London. They offer cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred counselling and psychodynamic psychotherapy to help you overcome the obstacles in your life.

High-school friends now in their late twenties meet for a fun-packed weekend aboard a luxury yacht to celebrate their friend's birthday. With everyone aboard the friends speed off into the ocean to get the party started. A clumsy mistake from one of the party leaves the friends unable to get back on the boat and at the mercy of the sea.

With no sign of rescue, fear grips the group, twisting their minds and causing them to turn against each other. Two of the friends become seriously injured and something is lurking beneath the surface. As night draws in, who will have the strength to survive?

In the film a childhood incident has left Amy terrified of the water and she insists on wearing a life jacket. Put your nerves to the test and watch the clip here

I think Tiscali competitions are only available for their subscribers?

Well, I know it says that in the T&Cs ........ but personally I think enter anyway and worry about it when and if you win!

You don't have to sign in or register before entering, and you can tick that you use Tiscali to get on the net even if you don't. I don't think it's a major crime! :D

Is there anyone out there who isn't a Tiscali member that enters their competitions anyway, because this is the 3rd time this has been mentioned today with my posts and I've never known anyone comment on it before! :o

I ain't a member and I still enter them, like you say, why say it's for members only but you don't need to sign in?

  • I thnk they would check before awarding the prizes so if you enter and you aren't a subscriber you won't win. Don't forget these things are of necessity computerised so it isn't rocket science to check. There are so many comps out there, why not spend your valuable comping time entering things you stand a chance of winning?

I have been a comper for over 20 years, and an internet comper since it all started, and I have never heard of a non subscriber winning a Tiscali comp. So what's the point of entering if you aren't a subscriber? Just because the mechanism accepts your entry doesn't mean it isn't going to be disqualified in the long run.

I don't think all of them say Tiscali members only. I'm sure I've entered a couple today that didn't. If it was something I really wanted then I'd enter anyway, why have the option to say if you're a customer or not if it's only for members. It seems silly letting people enter just to disqualify them.

Is it even legal to have that condition?
  • Yes, it's legal - comp promoters can make all sorts of conditions about who enters. Members/subscribers only is a common one, but they can restrict entrants to a particular place or area, and even in ways that would be otherwise illegal like specifying age, gender, race or sexuality.

I won a Tiscali competition last year that was subscribers only and I am with AOL! I won an iPod from them! So they dont always check - it doesn't hurt to enter!
    :D....It's nice to be nice.....:D
  • If you're concerned about not being a subscriber, just sign up for the free pay-as-you-go dial up service before entering the comp.

You don't need to use it but you would be a subscriber in the legal sense.

Can someone put the email address for entry here please. I only use a dedicated competitions hotmail account for entries, and when I click on a link it tries to open to the default outlook account on this laptop, which I don't use. (If that makes sense!)
