help on income and housing

hi,
can anyone help me out with income and benefit.
hubby and i earn 29 k between us working full and part time.we recieve 7.79 for tax creds ..2 kids 5 and 15]
we used to get 95 pounds for housing benefit..i got a letter today saying its 65 pounds a week from 12th sept..
we renewed tax creds in april and it went from 30 pounds a week to 7..we proberly earned 2000 more than last year with working banks hols and getting double..
housing letter says payments change from the 12th and the 1st payment will be 210..thats roughly what we get now every 2 weeks..cant work it out....have tried putting it in the benefits calculaters but keep coming up different answers..1 says we should be getting more in tax credits but less in housing..another says we should be getting roughly what we were getting of 95 pounds a week housing help,
can anyone help me shed the light on it.
many thanks.
shelly
