  • Grey school trousers = toy elephants. As children my sisters and I had a whole herd of different sized ones made from outgrown grey school skirts. My mother made them and we decorated with felt and buttons.


    I can't post links but if you google "karensvariety elephant" there is an easy but effective pattern that is similar to what I remember.
