Warning would be nice

Started a thread the other day about Google Adwords, questioning the £75 gift card I got sent.

I go to look at a reply someone's put in it today and it's gone. No PM about why or what was wrong with it.

So now I'm tempted to create another one. A quick PM of why it was removed would be nice or I won't know what was wrong with it.

Why has my post/thread been removed without telling me?
Posts/threads are deleted so we're no longer "publishing" them. While you may have posted it once we are made aware of it - we are legally liable too as the publisher. When something is deleted, it's removed from public view but it's still viewable by the Forum Team and can be reinstated if it needs to be. It won't show up in a forum search.

We never contact people when their posts are deleted. The sheer numbers of posts removed every day means it's simply impossible to contact everyone.

The Forum Team won't respond to aggressive emails demanding to know why a post/thread's been removed but if you send a polite email asking, it may review or explain the decision where possible (sometimes legal reasons prevent this). Thanks. It's odd, it was a totally innocent question about Google Adwords as the Gift card seemed a bit of a scam to me.

As a matter of policy, the forum team won't usually comment about what happened with particular threads here.

If you email them (forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com) then they may be able to say why. Or rectify it if there has been a mistake.
