N70 white screen, replacement options?

Hi all,

My Nokia N70 has a white screen of death which looks fatal I think. I need to get a replacement phone.

My current phone is out of contract, but I have quite a good monthly deal on it, so I would like to just buy another phone, and put the sim card into the new phone.

Can this be done with any model or am I restricted to Nokias?

The cheaper the better, but I would like to get it through a dealer in case of problems (i.e. not ebay)

The broken phone is almost 6 years old so it's definitely out of warranty.

I just want to know if I can get any unlocked phone or have to get a nokia.

no you don't have to get a nokia, any phone that is unlocked (or on the network your sim is) will be fine
