I updated firefox a couple of days back and since then its been hell with lagging, freezing, not starting up, not closing down - driving me bananas. I tried to uninstall from control panel/programs/uninstall and the damn thing wont go.
Ive tried downloading an older version over it but its just as bad, Ive tried a system restore and crap cleaner just about anything I know of in my limited pc ability.
Can anyone help please.

What exactly happens when you try to uninstall it - do you get an error?
What version is installed now?
Generally I would have suggested reinstalling the same version as was already installed - then see if it uninstalled properly after rebooting. Installing a different version over the top may have complicated things.
Try Revo Uninstaller.

I have used Revo before and it works a treat on stubborn applications."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Many thanks, Revo got rid of the program, thank goodness. The lagging and crashing withe Firefox was driving me mad. Im on IE9 now but I prefer FF layout.0

See if you get on with Palemoon, a stripped down version of Firefox, it will run most Firefox add ons

hI, just to say I still had some probs and finally realised it was a conflict between Windows Defender and KIS 2012. Disabled WD and now its running perfect
with FF back on. 0
