PPI success with Egg

Just had to post to say DH got a cheque through for PPI mis-sold on an Egg Loan from 2003 (loan paid off in 2006). It was for £561 (included 8% interest) which was less than I was expecting (we didn't even have paperwork anymore so don't know how much the PPI was in the first place, just the loan number as we had it left from a DMP we had to enter after we got into shtuck!) but better than nothing. It was the full amount though, not an offer or anything. So pleased, just waiting to hear back from HSBC and MBNA.

Congratulations pruney!
My OH submitted a complaint to Egg in April, and received payment towards his DMP in May!

Sorry for the delay in responding, this is what I put in the first box of section E of the questionnaire -
"You have been fined by the FSA for failing to treat your customers fairly when selling Payment Protection Insurance and I do not believe that my policy was sold in my best interests."
And this is what I put in the second box of section E -
"I am very concerned that I was one of the customers you mis-sold PPI to. As I have always received full sick pay and redundancy cover through my work, I didn't need PPI."
