Wizz Airlines

Hi,

Just want to know if any has used this airline and thoughts?

I am travelling to Wroclaw in Poland next year and seem to have a choice of 3 airlines.

Luthansia - £150ish and is not direct.... Only London flights and I am from the Midlands. A last option really but the only one to have dates available at the moment.

Ryanair & Wizz Air - Both do not yet have flights for this destination so far in advance but looking at similar flights a couple of months earlier Wizz seem to be slight ly cheaper £100 ish compared to £120.

I know where I stand with Ryanair having used them before and it being a well known airline. Wizz on the otherhand, I have no previous knowledge of. Reading reviews seems to sound like they are cowboys (cancelled/delayed flights). Just wondered if anyone here has had any experience with them, not worried about it being comfy/staff/unorganised, as long as they arrive!

I'd read more reviews about Wizz cancellations and crew going out of hours.

I travelled with Wizz to Prague this summer and it was fine. I generally try to avoid flying low-cost where possible after a bad experience with Sleazeyjet - so probably wouldn't be saying the same if there was flight disruption.

  • I flew with Wizz to Poland when they flew out of Coventry Airport a couple of years ago. A delay of 2.5 hours going out, OK coming back.
    Normal people worry me.

Just flown to Bulgaria with them from Luton. (Delay going out due to air traffic control, not Wizz) and fine coming back. Typical low cost airline IMO, comparable to Easyjet. I prefer more legroom, meals and reserved seating but can't complain for the price - would use again anyway. Good baggage allowance of 32kg per bag, but like most, you pay per bag, but that amount might enable you to reduce the nember of bags you could take anyway?
