ESA - Severe Disablement Allowance

I can't really explain my situation without going into a bit of detail, so I apologise in advance to anyone who think I might be giving a bit TMI but I want to make sure what I've been told today is correct.
In November 2010 I had used up all of my SSP and was told I would have to claim ESA, which I did. I was awarded the basic rate, plus a sever disablement allowance, I had my medical and I was placed into the work related activity group.
I had a major operation on my stomach and bowels in April this year (2011) and since then my condition has deteriorated and I've got 2 new conditions as well.
I'm type 2 diabetic, I have 3 venous leg ulcers due to bad circulation, I suffer with severe depression, irritable bowel syndrome, an overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, musculoskeletal problems with my knees and my back, anemia and high blood pressure. I have also recently been in hospital with kidney stones and I'm awaiting further tests and a scan for this which is coming up mid September.
Before the operation I didn't have fecal incontinence or anemia, the incontinence is a side effect of the operation and should hopefully rectify itself, if not there are other operations I can have.
Back in November I claimed for ESA, was awarded the basic rate plus an extra sever disablement allowance making the payment just under £120 a week, this is whilst I was awaiting the assessment, after the assessment I was put into the WRAG and awarded a further £25 a week, I didn't have to appeal and there was no faffing about.
On July 4th this year I had a review medical, again at the same place but this time with a registered nurse rather than a health worker who did my initial assessment, despite me being worse now than in November she only awarded me 6 points for the depression, she has put on the medical report that I suffer with bowel leakage, which I do, but not just bowel leakage, I suffer with incontinence when a lot more than just a leak escapes (so sorry to be graphic), she hasn't awarded me anything for the venous leg ulcers, nothing for the overactive bladder, she has missed the bladder medication off the list completely and there are quite a few other inaccuracies in the report, her prognosis is that I will be fit for work within 3 months! I wish!
I received a letter last week saying my claim had been stopped as I'm now fit for work, despite the fact that I suffer a couple of times a week with incontinence etc and I'm worse than when I was initially assessed back in December 2010.
I have put in an appeal with the help of a charity, 6 pages long, stating each section that the nurse has got wrong, they checked the ESA guidelines that the nurse is supposed to follow and I should have got 15 points alone for the fecal incontinence.
I am now down to just the basic rate of £67.50 a week whilst the appeal is passed to another decision maker to see if they can overturn it, however, the DWP called me today to say that I would still get my severely disabled allowance payment of £55.30, making it £122.80.
I've been given the run around that much I just don't know if what they're telling me is correct, will I definitely receive the severe disablement allowance whilst the claim is in the appeal stage? To drop me from £149.55 a week to £67.50 is just too much, I had to go to the doctors in tears last week, she was disgusted at their decision and gave me the sick note I needed to send them as part of the appeal without question.
I do get high rate mobility and middle rate care component from DLA, the mobility part is kept for my car though, which is my independence, without it I'd be stuck at home all the time, my care component is used to pay for home helps and people to help clean the house etc.
Would really appreciate if someone could tell me if I'll DEFINITELY get the disablement allowance along with the £67.50 whilst I'm in the appeal stage.
Sorry for such a long post, I just thought it best to give the full information.

Is the Severe Disablement Premium just for people who live on their own, please? I'm in the ESA Support Group and claim highest rates for both Care and Mobility but I don't receive this.0

If someone claims carers allowance for you then you cannot get it, but, if like me you're single and just live in a shared house where you try your best to look after yourself, then you get this extra premium.0 -

not quite correct, you can also live with someone who gets mrc or hrc dla aslo, then you get the couples rate sdp
aslo you can have upto £16,000 savings but for every £250 over £6000 your means tested benefits will be reduced by £1,over £16k you wont qualify0
