Hi Guys,
Im new to this website can anyone please help me out.
I was looking to get a prepaid mastercard as i cant get one with the bank due to my previous history. So i went online shopping for the best provider and deal and i came across blue sky prepaid master cards.
I purchesed one from their website and when it came in the post i went to the bank and put the money in to the account that they provided the details for on their site. This was over a week ago.
The cashier lady at the bank said that the money had cleared straight away but when i checked my card there were no fund put on. I've emailed bluesky and waited more days than stated on their website for bank looads but still haven't had any joy.
I've contacted the bluesky customer service several times but no body has got back to me. I really need some help and feel like i have been conned out of my money PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT!!!
Thanking you all in advance!

Have you activated your card and got a pin number ?You need to activate your card and retrieve your PIN before you can use it. You can activate your Blue Sky Prepaid MasterCard using one of the following options:
1. Online in the Activate area of our website.
2. Telephone 020 7081 0923"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

When you paid it in did you provide a reference for the money? usually with prepaid cards this is the long card number off the front.
The title of this thread is unfair too - the company providing the card hasn't taken your money, somethings gone wrong, these things happen.0 -
I activated the card got the pin and everything.
They answered all my questions when I emailed them first now I can't seem to get a response from them!!!
I've emailed from my own email account and from their contact form with no joy.0 -
A friend of mine had a similar experience with this company. BlueSky is in fact a white label version of the prepaid MasterCard offered by White Eagle who also do the freedom cards.
White Eagle are a very awkward company to deal with, initial loads on your card take significantly longer than the 3 working days stated on their website. Not sure what they do with the money whilst it's "loading" as the money deposited at the bank is instant!!!!
I'd advise you to contact their customer support via email and phone stating that you'll be making a formal complaint. And if a refund is not issued within 7 days, or your funds are not credited, contact trading standards, and the financial ombudsman service.

I used the full 16 digit reference, the sort code and account number they provided me with and followed all the instructions to the letter.
Why would the company ignore my numerous emails if there had simily been a problem? Wouldn't they try and help me resolve the matter or point me in the right direction.
I even emailed them the receipts of my depsoit as proof of payment which clearly showed the branch, date and time of the deposit. How hard would it be to locate the payment using that information??!?0 -
Have you tried phoning?
So many people send emails these days and complain when they don't receive a response. Why don't you pick up the phone and speak to someone? It could be resolved there and then rather than you waiting for an email to appear.0 -

Maybe they're investigating the issue and verifying you have infact paid the money in before crediting your account?
They will likely contact the branch then wait for them to get back to them.
What days did you email then and how long did you wait for a response?0 -
Op, have you phoned them yet?
I did ask in post #2.0
