small business query - some help required

wow, what a response im blown away by. Unfortuanately im not very technical minded. I thank you all for being so kind and warm and genuine in your informative responses

Can anyone recommend a decent and relatively not too expensive web design company, Id rather take word of mouth recommendations, Im not really tech savvy enough to design my own. What i really want in an ideal world is a blog that I can maintain and use for affiliate marketing, that I can update myself, after initally being set up by a web designer if that makes sense, but i cant afford to be ripped off.

I love the exchange of ideas on the forum
