I found today on the xmas sweets/biscuits shelf :

Mc vities 6 pack individually wrapped Christmas temptations 0range digestive slices 6 25p.
Dated BB today (14/1/14), but hopefully they won't notice and leave them there. I'm expecting my six packs to last another month at least.

Also Quality street my green bar 16p, Giant toffee finger 364g £1.25. After 8 collection mint selection in a flat box £1 (142g)
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

Thetford superstore now has the A-list clip in ponytails & hair scrunchies in various colours for £1.

Also just bought the last of the bluetooth keyboards for £3.75 so none left in Thetford but may be available in other superstores.

The Christmas wrapping paper, bows, cards and gift tags have been greatly reduced in the H**dforth D**n Tesco Extra near me. (In the seasonal aisle)

4m rolls of plain metallic gold and red wrapping paper - 50p plus loads of other types, spotty, tartan, patterned etc. All 50p a roll.
Lots of cards reduced ranging from £1.00 per box down to 38p or less.
Got plain red christmas bell tags for 5p (for 10) as well.
Hardly anyone around at teatime so loads of stuff still left.
Hope this helps. Mines already in the loft for next Christmas with a couple of rolls in a cupboard for general wrapping of birthday presents through the year.

Not sure if this is a countrywide reduction but possibly could be as there were boxes and boxes of the stuff at my store.

Tesco stores across the country are in the process of stock reduction and different things will be put on offer prior to upcoming stock checks.
Christmas related goods are just the tip of the mountain, full details are not available as it is on a 'store-by-store' basis but keep your eyes open as they try to clear the overstocks.

I wish I could give more details but I'm not actually involved in the stock reduction teams, I just know that it will be happening at random stores nationwide.
I can't even say what goods will be involved other than christmas stock but after last years stockcheck there were rumblings about too much stock being carried by a number of stores, these 'stock reduction teams' have been put into some stores to work with local managers and hopefully solve that problem.
