Help with PPI!

Hello. Was wondering if anyone could give advice on a PPI issue. We took a loan out in 1998 with First National Bank and finished paying it in 2008. In our innocence we had been told that we had to have the PPI or else we couldn't take the loan out, we were very naive in those days. Are we in a position to claim the PPI back, not even sure if First National are still going? I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me, thanks in advance.

Hi there
I have checked on companies house and if its the same company then they are still active.
Name & Registered Office:
FIRST NATIONAL LIMITED
CURZON HOUSE
64 CLIFTON STREET
LONDON
EC2A 4HB
Company No. 02571120
If you want to make a reclaim, you just complete the reclaim questionnaire as below on step 3, send to their complaints or head office and keep a copy for yourself as well.
They normally have 8 weeks, but the FSA have given some banks/companies more time due to the backlog, they will let you know if they need more time.
Good luck.
