How to catch....

That Bloody shoe fairy:mad:

Any idea's?

I've tried staking out the hallway in hopes of catching that little !!!!, tried flypaper (well it works for other winged cretins), tried taping the shoes into pairs, tried making the kids sleep in their shoes, tried buying 2 pairs of every kind of shoe the kids need.

One always goes missing but in todays case a whole pair went, BNWT, in a bag, just vanished from the shoe rack.

This is war.

  • I must have one too - I often make myself late looking for a pair of shoes, or one shoe... I dont know how, I live alone, so no one else moves them...

She's definitely in collusion with the sock fairy. Goodness know where they hang out, but they can't have enough room to swing a fairy cat with all the socks and shoes they bust be hoarding.

My daughter likes to try on other people's shoes and then wander off in them. It's very cute, but a pain in the butt when you can't find them the next morning.

Pee her off. Go on a rant about it, PMT week is a good one to start on. Say in future if all shoes are not in required place as and when you come across them they will be carrier bagged and binned. Do it and tell family so. When they have removed shoes from dustbin to correct place, ignore whinging that you are a complete <insert animal> remind every so often that you will be doing it again. Honest it scares the shoe fairy so much, that she moves on elsewhere. ;)

Wellie Fairy kicks shoe fairy's bahookie. If kids can't find shoes then wellie's it is - yup even during summer break, shorts and wellies.

After a couple of days, just at the stage the boys have the traditional Scottsh "red stripe on bare legs at wellie height" marks she seems to relent and the shoes "magically" appear again.

  • The shoe fairy resides at my house.

That is what I tell dh, and so I just must go and buy another pair. You get my gist. I have shoe racks in the bottom of my wardrobe but she still manages to take them away.

Whats a girl to do, everyone needs at least 20 pairs dont they ;)
