how much longer for a decision

.it is now 9 weeks since my atos medical and today i decided to phone the dwp about my results. there is nothing on their system and so they have still not reached a decision..ive read other posts where they knew within a couple of weeks..why's it taking so long.....

They may have asked a doctor for further evidence - depending on what was the result of report.
Other than that it may be down to regional variation - different areas have different workloads.0 -
Asking for a copy of the medical report from DWP can sometimes help.... at least you'll get a decent idea what you could expect the decision to be. i think it can roughly take around 3 months so a few more weeks yet they are really back logged at the moment i know its very frustrating but hang in there, i originally started claiming esa and applied for dla in june last year had to appeal them both but if i remember rightly i had a decision in september:happylove:heartsmil:happyhear:heartsmil:happylove0
