Hi,
Hoping for sound advice from you all, me and my husband are first time buyers and I'm getting abit confused by what I need to do and when.
We have found a house a 4bed mid terraced house (1950's style) for £186,995 had an offered accepted, got mortgage arranged thru London & country after reading on here that Martin recommends them a 2yr Fixed rate with Abbey. Solicitiors are in placed and paid their fee, but what about a survey got a valuation survey being done is this different to a home buyers survey? or do we need a full survey.
The property has not been structurally changed but has had new kitchen, bathroom etc fitted in last 18mths.
Cheers any advice welcome

Check out the different types of surveys (there are only two - Homebuyers and Full Building Survey - a valuation is NOT a survey) at https://www.rics.org/url]. Look at 'Find a Surveyor' and then phone a few in your area for quotes.0
