Making good

Hi
I've just had some rewiring (ligting circuit) done in my house and need a plasterer to make good the damage. The electrician has done a good job of keeping damage to a minimum so it is a fairly small job.
there are two channels where the sparky has chased the switch wiring to the ceiling (about 50cm long/5cm wide), the rest were wired in conduits so no damage.
7 new backboxes for switches were put in and the surrounding plaster neads neatening up.
He cut a 5cm diameter hole in my artex ceiling, he has replaced the peice that he cut out, but it needs neatening up.
Does anybody have any idea of a ballpark figure for how much this might cost? I dont want to get ripped off. I live in Reading berkshire if that makes a difference.
Also, how hard would it be to do myself? I'm ok at DIY, and it seems as though it wouldnt be too hard as the areas are fairly small.
