lloyds internet banking

ive switched bank accounts between santander and lloyds and the last couple of days ive been transferring my balance via internet banking. i first did a couple of transfers of £1 to make sure it went through all right and it did, instantly too.

however this morning i transferred £10k and its yet to appear in my account.

is this the norm for large transactions taking a while longer.

Sorry are you switching from Lloyds to Santander....or from Santander to lloyds - it's not clear.

If you are sending from Santander to Lloyds then it will go by BACS as Santander have a very low max limit for faster payments - a few £100 as I recall from these forums.

Lloyds outgoing Faster payments has always been OK for me - except when one was held for additional security checks - which I was informed of at the time and lloyds later rang me for additional verification prior to releasing it.
The Lloyds limit for FP is something in excess of £10K for personal customers.

apologies. im switching from santander. so im going to have to wait about 3 days for the transfer to go through then.

not that I'd go there, but it's nice to know the facility is there.
