247 Blinds - a word of warning..

We ordered some vertical blinds from 247 Blinds earlier this year, giving them the correct recess measurements.
The blinds they supplied did not fit. We never got to the bottom of which part was incorrect (header rail, gap above rail etc) but to me it seems most likely the vanes were too long.
However 247 Blinds refused a refund, saying that the blind should fit the measurements we provided, and their supplier would only be able to replace with exactly the same fit of blind.
We did get our refund in the end but only after threatening court action.
Just a word of warning really!

I think 247 are OKish. I have had 4 blinds off them over a period of time and one didn't fit properly, despite giving them exact measurements for the recess - their blinds including fittings (which they apparently make an adjustment for) were 5mm narrower than I wanted overall. I managed to fit them in the end, but it was a lot of faffing about with the thing that I didn't want; which was the point of buying made to measure blinds.
I too got the standard "manaufactured to your requirements" but they definately were not. The other 3 have all been recess ones too and have all been fine. I wouldn't buy recess fit ones from there again as a 75% success rate isn't good enough for me!0 -

I ordered a vertical, a venetian and a roller from them a few weeks back.
All three of them were from their budget ranges but I was pleasantly surprised at how decent they were and they all fit perfectly.
The vertical blind in particular was incredible value for money - 60 quid for 3.6m wide and 2m deep.0
