Royal Male I know this isn't applicable to you, but i htought it worth mentioning. According to the community boards a number of people are being charged for placing an item in two categories despite the terms and conditions saying both will be free.
There is nothing to suggest that bulk relists are being charged, except for a few people who have tried relisting over 100 items. RoyalMale try listing one to make sure that shows as free, as that might help narrow down what the glitch is.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi,
I have been trying to relist about 50 items, but when I try and do several at once it comes up quoting the price of listing said items.
But whenI do them individually, it's free! Why? They are all over the £0.99 staring price.
Anyone else had the same problem. I use the library computer, but I don't think that's the reason as I've on other occasions relisted several items at the same time on a free listing day and not charged.
It's took me ages to list them!0 -
cagneyfan I've aded your post to this thread as your glitch is already being discussed.
I've looked back on some other FLW threads on community boards and there are some isolated reports of people being charged for a bulk relist. The suggestion appears to be (but not officially yet) that bulk relists should always have been charged for in the past but got through the net. So basically there is no official response yet.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. One definitely comes up as free, two comes up with 10p listing fee for each one.0 -
It only takes about 20 seconds to relist, might as well before you charity shop the lot. Anyway, I don't believe it has ever been possible to bulk relist on a FLW.
I usually bulk relist my unsold items, usually about 40 or 50 and don't usually have a problem - it come up £0.00 insertion fee, but not today. I had to do each one individually!0 -
sorry if this is a silly question...but part of the T&C are only sellers who meet certain ebay standards apply...how do i find out if i meet this criteria? it has been a few years since i sold anything on ebay and have a lot of worthless tat to sell for a squidley didley!!0

The 'easiest' way is to try listing something and see if you are charged, the fee should show as free before you confirm the listing. However the correct way would be to check your expanded seller dashboard- although if you haven't sold for ages it is unlikely to show anything so very unlikely you are below average.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ditto, I used to bulk relist and it would should zero charge before submitting. For the first time is now showing a charge.0

I have bulk relisted - it initially showed a charge for the listings, but when I confirmed, it removed the charges and reduced it to 24p . I relisted 51 items and took the chance!:) (you could just try it on 2 items, if you feel unsure)0

Just a very quick thought on people being charged for relists, did you originally list using Turbo lister or similar?
If so as you only get free listing using the sell your items form, direct from the ebay page, that could be why you're now being charged.
It may be worth trying this, on your unsold listing, press, sell similar, it will take a couple of seconds to list everything like that but you won't need to change anything just press continue a couple of times.0
