Techincally yes, it is possible as ebay have no way of knowing if someone has paid or not unless they use paypal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. But that would be abusing the system. Yes, you can open a NPB on ANYONE who hasn't paid. If they haven't paid then they haven't paid, regardless of whether they were paying cash or otherwise.0 -
@theonlywayisup.
Yes but not really an abuse of the system (or a widespread one). If a seller raises a npb on someone who has paid by paypal, or cheque then the buyer can provide proof of payment and the claim is denied. In this case the buyer agreed as it was the only way the seller could end the auction without selling to a genuine higher bidder as the item was either sold elsewhere or not available and in the last 24hrs you cant end with bids, the buyer is the sellers mate0
