as ever depends on what you needDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
"Best" meaning just what, exactly? Both manufacturers produce CPU chips of different powers. Currently the Intel i3, i5 and i7 ranges of CPUs are well thought of, as are their Xeon range for servers.
An equivalent question to yours would be, "Which cars are best, Ford or Vauxhall?"...0 -
One is as good or as bad as the other in normal day to day use. But I have always preferred AMD. Just my personal choice.0

Its a personal choice. I prefer AMD. Just look at what PC's you have liked in the past and use that.Tech Savvy Student trying to help and learn

Depends on the price point.
In general sometimes AMDs run hotter than Intels. AMD have nicer low end processors, with better HD graphics integrated into the same chip.
I've usually built computers with AMD chips, as they would often be better value for money (particularly for gaming). My main laptop uses an Intel chip as it was the smarter buy at the time, so I'm hardly a purist.
As a company, Intel has engaged in a lot of anti-competitive practices over the years. Google if you're interested and I'm sure you'll read a lot from both sides.0
