We have been using Boomspeed for web hosting since 2002, just tried to get page up and it now seems as though there is a monthly fee and cannot access pages
Can anyone recommend an alternative free web space provider? The site is under 1mb in size and we dont need mail forwarding etc.
And when we find somewhere else, how do we get the domain name to point to the new site?

Now you've found the problem with "free" why not try "very cheap". For example I pay just £12 a year to http://www.betterwebspace.com
You'll pay a little extra for your domain name but it will still be less than £22 a year. That's less than £50p per week. Just how hard up are you?
That gets you web space, unlimited email addresses, forwarders, autoresponders and C-Panel that provides features such as your own discussion forum (if you want it). You'll also have access to your visitor statistics and many other features.

Does your ISP give you webspace? I had a free hosting with Lycos (my email provider) and had no problems.0
