Hi there
I have a friend who takes photographs in her spare time, and I think her pics are amazing. She would like to upload some of them onto websites or forums where she could perhaps sell them. Can anyone recommend any websites where you could do this, or any other suggestions relating to what she could possibly do with her photos?
Thanks

'Sell' them in what form?
Prints? JPG files?
What's so special about them?0 -
Santer, some brilliant websites you suggested there, will pass them on to her to have a look. Thanks for that!
Googler, not sure "whats so special" about her pics, but I think she would like to do more than just post them on facebook. She's not after making a profit from something she does as a hobby, just hoping to put the photos she takes to some use.0 -
I'd check deposit photos dot com. A lot of amateur photographers submit their pictures to this site.0

I've used 'http://www.istockphoto.com/' in the past. I found it quite useful when i did a bit of web design. I would take some good 'stock photos', sell a few, then use the money to buy stock photos I needed to make websites.
So far i've made $5.40 USD, woo!
This one has been downloaded the most : http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-332520-celtic-village-2.php
Taken on a little canon ixus 5mp camera. Shame i've not put stuff on since I bought an SRL... they are really picky about what photos they sell on the site. If it's too grainy it won't go on the site.0 -

I think googler means that with millions of photos available for free on the web, they would need to be extra special to command a fee.0
