PPI Lloyds TSB claim query

Hi all.

I've had my claim for mis sold PPI on my credit card accepted from Lloyds Tsb.They have said they will refund all payments of PPI I have made on the card since I have had it,which is well over 10 years.
They have not however said how much the payment is.They've sent paperwork showing different examples of how they calculate the figures but no indication of what my individual payment will be.Is this normal?
I'm not really prepared to sign the acceptance form until I know. One reason is that they have said in the literature that they have sent me that they make some assumptions on any payments of PPI made from an account older than six years. They only keep records up to six years apparently. How would i know if their assumptions are right? And I'm guessing if I've signed the form before I know then I won't then be able to dispute it.I've got the number for the financial Ombudsmen.
Any advice from anyone with experience of claiming from Lloyds would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Dave

Yes i have had the same come through a week or so ago,its there usual jargon, have spoken to them cos i have had three faxes and a letter and they have got my name on them correct only once, the others have come in someone els'es name!!!
Sign the acceptance form and send back, and yes if there are any discrepancies, you can take it up with them,i have spoken to numerous people on there helpline, this way just sending out acceptance forms, they are gtting through the backlog quicker apparantley.
Saying that,i sent my acceptance (only one with correct name on)back on the same day as gauranteed next day delivery at a cost of £5.60 approx, and they told me yesterday,it still has not been scanned on to there system, and thats been a week.

Glad you got good news ,congratulations.:T

Thanks for the reply Trish.Have you by any chance got the address for Lloyds that you sent the acceptance form back?
It says on the paperwork to send it back in the pre paid envelope.

Guess times are tough for banks these days ;-)

    Thanks again
