Broccoli Leaves

Firstly, can you eat broccoli leaves. Secondly, if you can,are they a pleasant tast or not.

    Yes...they taste like cabbage....try a few.

    The stalk is also good raw too.

    Yes. The taste is very bitter which I like. After steaming them, add a little olive oil, some balsamic and a pinch of salt...yum.

    Thanks Sally A and attila - I wasn`t brave enough to try eating them myself until I found someone who has. I`ll give it a try cos I have plenty of them and don`t like waste..
