  • hi there heres what i did today
    cleared out garage this morning and sorted out stuff for car boot sale in spring
    went to church mums and tots this afternoon (only 50p!)
    had a no spend day othere than the above
    sorted out pix for ebay tmorro
    made soup for work tommoro
    made spag bol for tea (froze some)
    and tonite ill be catching up with kids reading books and homework watching tele and having an early nite!!! oh yer i walked everywhere today to keep petrol costs down and get fit ,i also stuck to weight watchers plan, but the nite is still young::rotfl:
    Sometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p

    Had homemade soup for lunch.
    Posted two books that I sold on amazon yesterday.
    Checked online bank accounts.

    Found a book of 12 first class stamps in car park near post office:D :D:D

    hope you don't mind me joining in. I've been reading this everyday and thought it was about time I started posting!

    NSD for me
    lunch paid for by the boss (late Christmas and Birthday lunch)
    avoided going in the shops
    rung to complain about 1st class post taking a week to arrive and getting 6
    1st class stamps as compensation.

    NSD apart from Reflexology session, usually about £25+ I paid £6 :)
    Resisted shops
    Even wandered round Boots and didn't spend anything - I must be ill!
    Early night tonight means I won't do any online comfort spending
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Just had my powergen bill today , ooops .

    I know its a winter bill but ive knocked the boiler thermostat down a notch and unplugged every thing on standby . Aiming to have aprils bill a lot cheaper

    Hi all and well done...today I walked to town saving petrol and parking costs and getting some exercise as well...I ordered the dogs prescription for 3 months so I only pay 1 dispensing charge...lol(that saves £12)....got to do my pigsback and quidco click throughs yet!!

    update - pigsback and made a big batch of pesto for my local deli, they give me £15 and it costs about £5 to make!

    Sell it for about £35 as well!
