evening all, just got back from Mr T,s...........managed to get GEAR4 alarmdock HALO reduced to 29.99 but scans at 15.00 nice bit of kit three left on shelf at SPR0WST0N,N0RW1CH..........END OF THE ISLE THREE UP FROM BOTTOM TV SECTION ON THE LEFT,

ALSO,went to GR34T Y4RM0UTH and found the elusive twin teknika dvd players for the car, it is the one with the man on the front of box not the boy(different barcode) didnt buy it because kids already have them in the car but hope this helps someone, oh and that is lower shelves to the right of the televisions and is the first box on the shelf. Same in Stockton. Looked at them and thought what a bargain and then thought, hang on a minute, I've never used headphones in my life. It's only a bargain if you were going to buy some anyway. Unless of course it would make a good present for someone.

I managed to get the £20 Flip Ultra camcorder earlier, however I don't think I'm going to use it. I'd be willing to swap if someone managed to get one of the hard drives that were on sale, preferably a networked one though.

Welll I went along to the T's Home store in Chelmsford last night, after being at work from 6-6 in hope of getting 1 of 4 camera's listed here.

They had none of the 4 I was after left, had a few of the smaller normal digital cameras left, I even asked a CA about it and he knew what ones i was talking about, I asked him if he could check out back and he said he knows for definate they have none left, and so I asked him to ring the other stores, he said they already had as they were trying to get some of the stock from the other 2 stores in Chelmsford into their store!! so unlucky there,...

but...

I went to the 24hr store at midnight on monday for the midnight launch of Gears of War 3. I was going not only for the game but also for 3 months Live. They were out of stock of the 3 month live, but i got the game ..£37.90! When i went into the home store to look for cameras i also went to get 3 month live, - its then i see that if you buy the live (£14.90) You get the game for £28!!!

I bought the live and then thought...i wonder if they will honour the fact that offer was not stated in the other store at midnight launch and that i could not have taken advantage of it as they didn't have the live. They told me to take the unopened game back to the other store, then come back to the home store and re-buy it on the offer...the game was not sold to me sealed!!! (or anyone else for that matter!!) So they let me use their phone to ring them first, i get a woman in Glasgow telling me i can only take it back if sealed...grrr it wasn't sealed when sold to me!! It hadn't been played either as hadnt had the chance yet, she also tried to tell me the offer was on-which it wasn't advertised! She tried telling me the female duty manager was there with the games at launch and that there was 3 month live in the game section...there was no female there just 1 man working, and i was in the game section ... no 3 month live....such a liar!

anyway the CS ladies at T's home, saw me getting worked up and told me to hang up the phone, told me to go home get the game come back, they'll refund it and re-sell it to me so i get the deal! :T

I had a £10 gift card too so all in all i paid £18 for a brand new just out game
