The 'new' camera prices are not true in London.
Some tesco's like Ponders End and Cheshunt do not keep cameras in sleeves anymore, so you cannot scan them, the plastic sleeves just have a picture of the camera you then take it to staff and they get the camera.
In both those Tescos i tried to buy the same reduced camera who's sleeve was on display in the instock section , staff then said it was not in stock and sleeeve was by mistake left there, I guess they scanned it saw the cheap price and kept it .
practically impossible to get good bargains in these two Tesco's as staff filter what you can have, seems they get first grabs.0 -
It does not matter you paid the going price fair and square, the 2 security guards there make your life hell if they see you buy more than 3 same items.
I had my receipt confiscated while the security guard went from manager to manager trying to persuade them that my bargains were a mis-price.
Managers apologised to me, but the over eager security guard continued harassing me.
phew... Tesco shopping, we now need the security guards to approve sale items.0 -

Have been looking for over two weeks now and had given up on seeing any of the bargains being posted by everyone else..... until today!!
I got Flip Video Ultra camcorders for £20 (not ideal for home, but as a school teacher, ideal for school and paid £59 each for the last lot, so got 5)
Also got Sony SX53E for £49. and these are still on tesco website for £229.
And got one Samsung C20 camcorder for £22.50 (which are still being sold on the net from anywhere between £55-£120)- ideal prezzie for teenage daughter for xmas!
Still no digital photo frames at my tesco though!0 -
