Went to St''aines homeplus today and got a Philips shaver for £20. It was this one http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/appliances/personal_care/120266330_philips_hq7363_special_edition_electric_shaver.html?hnav=4294945160#infobox

    Philips HQ7363

Hope this helps. there were a few earlier today!

Just note when using the price check scanners please put the item back in its proper place if you do not want it. The staff there are getting annoyed with people dumping stuff by the scanners, and are turning them off when it gets too bad...............

Nowt at Br£nt Cr0ss today, was looking mainly for a sat-nav and hairdryer - got all excited when I found a hairdryer mentioned but self-scanned at £29'ish :(
I saw lots of pink irons but not sure if they were the ones people are looking for.

Wins : McCains garden games set, 2xTickets to Alton Towers, Links of London friendship bracelet, 2xIdeal Home Show tickets, McFly album CD, Virgin Balloon flight for 2 with a case of ScrumpyJack cider and 2 ltd edition jackets, Powerboat racing experience, £50 Virgin voucher, Aerobie Pro flying ring & Rice Krispie squares, Tesco baby pack

So today I managed to venture out to 0rp1ngt0n extra and managed the following:

DTD on the Binatone Quad Phone Symphony 3325. An old SEL (expired Sunday just gone) for £49.99. Scanned at £104.99. Was paid £5.01 to take it home. Great as my parents have been looking for a quad for some time!!

DTD on the technika 7" twin portable dvd player (model PDVDTWINSS11). Another old SEL (expired early Sept) for £79.97. Scanned at £99.97. So £40 back.

I realise that people have been getting twin dvds for much less but I have been looking to no avail so this worked for me especially as I used both £10 off Morrisons vouchers and a £5 off £50 spend on electricals till spit getting £25 off.

So for both of the above and milk (2pt semi and 2pt full - I feel I need to share this ;)) my bill was £206.95 less the £25 worth of coupons and DTD of £150.00. So only paying £31.95.

    Very happy today.

Obviously the DTD on these items is store specific. Many stores are efficient with removing old SELs but have a look and you might get lucky.

Ah well done, i am so jealous of the twin DVD players, I might just have to do the same and just give in and go and buy them But £80 minus £15 makes them £65 which is still about £40 too much :rotfl:
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
