Hi French knickers
Cameras in my local are in big plastic glass boxes can't for life of ne scan the darned things, how didyou manage? Not that I need more cameras lol!
Easy
Shuffle the camera close to the end of the box....if it touches the end of the box it sometimes wont scan if its an irregular end on the box and just waft it around till it beeps. Only problem occurs when the donkeys put the boxes in the cases wrong way round so the code is by the security (opaque) end.
I didn't end up buying anything. Money is tight and I'm being hard with myself justifying purchases. I fancied the satnav, but my old bargain navman S40 still works fine so it stayed on the shelf.0 -
Hi all bargain hunters... Has anyone spotted any sat nav systems reduced? Saw the post about the navman f360, but any others? TIAI miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

I also got 1 from the Musselburgh store then took a trip to the forts home store and they had 2 technika 7'' frames one priced £9.97 and the other priced £24.97 only difference was a slight change in the packaging.Sarcasm

Hi everyone and thank you for all the info. Just got back from visiting family and now able to post. Whilst away I kept up via my ancient phone with a tiny screen ! but the eye strain and dedication/addiction to mse paid off :j
Went to the new F**nworth store and looked for cameras but none reduced near to £30 so picked up a few fairy platinums and tried the jelly and custard and got lucky free jelly and custard. So put shopping and went back for more, lots more:D:D
Then tried it at Wa**den but it didn't work, Had to make excuse and get SA to remove 24 assorted jellies and custard.
Anyway went back to Farnworth the following day (sunday) armed with a list of model numbers and there on the shelf was a loan Pentax p80. Sel said £109.99 and couldn't scan it so went and found more jelly and custard some b1g1f choccy raisons and prayed as it all went through. Success:j Camera scanned at £30 jellies and custard fore free and all less £4 off voucher total cost £28.36
Couldn't pay and get out quick enough. I'm so chuffed. Also tried at W@lkden but nothing there.
Thanks again0 -
If anyone is interested, there were most of the cameras (not the video one) and a few 7" Technika frames at R0y5ton about 30 minutes ago. Cameras were in main aisle as you go in, at the bottom, left hand side near to the electrical dept. Frames on normal electrical aisle. There was also a mobile (Voda Cube, I think) on payg for about £12.00. Lots of ood labels on but scanning at the lower price. HTH0
