Offer In..............what now.

..........Ok.........so I claimed for PPI and offer in which is pretty much more than I first thought. Offer in last week so before deadlnie and this is RBS. It says endeavour to pay within 28 days, it's a nightmare trying to call and given the fact the investigation took 16 weeks I am prepared for the pay out to take longer than 28 days. However I am confused as it is overdraft they say, so easier than credit card and I also still have an account so a direct transfer and the aceptance back in the timer frame - any idea if they can hold on to this longer than 28 day period. Acceptance is logged on system they say,

  • Congratulations!
I got my letter today and have sent off my acceptance recorded delivery. I think the letter says 28 working days which will take us into October but I think someone else posted on another thread that they had spoken to rbs and had been advised 8 - 12 weeks!! I am hoping as I have waited since July 2010 for this that I get my money in time for christmas!!
    Cheers:beer:
