Hi OP,
I didn't want to spend more than £150 to start with and got very frustrated going round all the bridal places with quite frankly ridiculous prices.
In the end I bought mine from Monsoon but got it very cheap as it was slightly damaged (easily mendable, but I made out to the shop assistant that I would have to take it to a seamstress to repair it
)Hey
I'm in a similiar situation - getting married in December and don't have a dress yet!
Where are you based? There is a sale day at a bridal studio in Basingstoke this Saturday, and I am also planning to visit the Bridal Factory Outlet in Leicester. It's ex samples, discontinued lines but with all sizes. Check them out online.
There is also a good one in Liverpool and Northallerton if you are in the North.
Good luck!
I live about 10 minutes drive away from the one in Leicester and I was quite surprised at how expensive it was - it says prices start from £199 but I spent a good hour in there and I didn't find any cheaper than £299.
Debenhams do some bridesmaid and occasion dresses in white and ivory that are reasonable, I tried one on that was £135 and was a lovely fit - this one http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_008010551485_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Women~Dresses
Good luck with your search

Actually I tried that Debenhams dress on and it's lovely on. I think when I looked at it it was more expensive though!0

I got my dress at Copplestones in Liverpool. Mine was £350 but would have cost £900 in a bridal shop. I think most are between £200 and £400 so a bit over your budget but it's worth giving them a ring if you're not far away and asking them if they have any for less. They are very friendly and helpful.0
