ive looked online for manufacturer and found kooltrade who are not the manufacturer (although some sites say they are) who will fix it for free if i post it to them which wil cost around £30-£40

does anyone have any advice or know what ive to do? i bought this thinking it would last a while for the 2 young children (aged 1+2) that i have and the one i'm due to have in january (mad i know :D)

confirm with them they will repair it, if they will use a courier firm to do so, it wont cost anywhere near £30 - you could use www.interparcel.co.uk

Unfortunately that isn't correct. The conrtact was with the previous owners, the current owners have no liability. They may do it as a gesture of goodwill, but they don't legally need to.

OP, did you use a credit card for the purchase?
If so, consider a 'section 75' claim.
