Semi pedestal basin

Hi all
I am looking to get my bathroom done shortly and fancy a semi pedestal sink however it would have to go under my window on an external wall.
So my question - could I sink in the waste and water pipes into the wall (breeze block) at the bottom of the pedestal and bring back out under the floor and then would be tiled over or would they freeze up! Or is it not a good idea. I haven't room to build a stud wall.
Cheers.

assuming you have a cavity wallthat is insulated then can see no problems, if in doubt lag the supply pipes for extra security. all you need is a hammer and bolster and muscle power0
