First time user. PLease can anyone tell me how to get rid of boiler room scam emails. They are all marked "Spam" but they keep coming through to my email page. Sorry I am not very technical with my words. Thank you

who is your email provider ? Do they have a bulk mail folder ?
(Funny enough most of my spam has been boiler room too, but my email provider does not place them in my inbox.... )Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.0 -
Do you use hotmail?
Put the junk emails in the junk mail folder. Then go to that folder and tick the box at the top to select them all and then delete them. Tick the “report” box on the next screen. This tells Microsoft that those IDs are sending junk mail though I am cynical about what real effect this has as the junk perps change or hide ids regularly. .
Hotmail should then put any further emails from those IDs straight into your junk folder. Of course it will not work for the new IDs that the perps use but it should help somewhat. You just need to keep doing this regularly. It only takes a few seconds. Maybe I am lucky but I get no more than one or two junk emails per day.
Other email systems probably have a similar process.0 -
I use outlook express/wanadoo, don't quite know who the email provider is out of these 2. No I don't use Hotmail. Where will I find the bulk mail folder? Thanks for trying to help.0
