oh and I find that if you pick two colours that compliment each other well, you can build a capsule wardrobe which all mixes and matches well and goes further... and needs less shoes

H and M, and the charity shops. (Go to a posh town, and they have a better class of clothes!)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I think it depends if you want clothes to last or if you like to renew them often. I like them to last so I pay a bit more when I know the brand is long lasting. I've bought jumpers from Bon Marche which haven't been fit for anything let alone work after three or four careful washes whereas I have a couple of M&S jumpers I bought in the sale which look as good as new after 2 1/2 - 3 years. I have a friend who likes to replace things every season so doesn't mind if they don't last.
Depends what you want.Love living in a village in the country side0 -
The Next sale is very good for long lasting clothes/shoes.
Primark is good for cheap work trousers (from £5!) and jumpers (from £4) as well as tights, but their shoes are too cheap for me, I wear them out in a month. I generally steer clear of cheap shoes, they're a false economy.
Internacionale is v v v cheap for t shirts, work trousers and little jackets. (all from as little as £2.95 in the sale, which seems to be, always!)
ASDA for chunky cardies (or Tesco). Got a great one for £10.
We also have a shop called Peacocks which I believe is a chain and is very reasonable. Spoilt for choice here in Leeds especially with the great market we have.0 -
I agree with all the jobs that people have suggested.
Went into town today and actually picked up a pair of trousers from Next clearance. Great I thought , classic style last me years.
Tesco and asda are great and I believe Asda got a sale at the moment on their clothes.:A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling0
