This has been about the same price for years, I have one and got the parents one last year, and they both still work. top stuff

On the whole, these are excellent value for money. However, if like me, you use them a lot, then it may be better to invest in a more expensive one. I've had a number of the cheaper ones over the years and they invariably breakdown just after their 1 year guarantee has expired.
I do make large batches - eg: 5 or more egg cake mixes - which may be why they struggle.
I'm currently on a new Kenwood mixer so we'll see how it goes. The receipt is stapled to the box so it is handy if/when it breaks down!

It's in the latest catalogue at that price so presumably that is what it normally costs.
