For 99p you can get a 3 year replacement cover @ argos! I did the same on a hand blender yesterday!

Just a note about their replacement cover. If they stop selling the product which is covered, they just refund the cost of the cover or put it towards the cost of another model. Which is fine on full price items but a bit of a let down if you got a product at a bargain price.
