Claims Management Code

Apparently the "Association of Professional Claims Managers" has launched today.
Although many of us are of the view that this is a contradiction in terms, its website is here, its members are listed here and its code of practice is here.
Remember, though, the banks have codes of practice too (and have breached them often enough).
I will be keeping a watching eye on this over the months ahead!

A professional is a member of a vocation founded upon specialised educational training. How can they be professional when they have no qualification requirements?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

funny that! We've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.0 -
