Urgent Advice Needed ref Holiday Help!

I'd like some advice please and urgently. My aunty, husband and my mum have flown to Turkey for their hols. They were booked into a hotel in Bodrum, they booked 2 double rooms all inclusive. When they arrived they were told that the hotel was overbooked and they were told they had been booked into a similar hotel. However they were put into a taxi, which they had to pay for themselves, and were taken 20miles away to a non speaking Turkish hotel in the middle of nowhere! they were put in ONE room with 3 beds. They are the only English speaking people there and the staff doesn't speak English either. The hotel does not appear in any British website only on Turkish sites.
They have been told by the Travel Agent that they are to stay there as there is nowhere else for them to go. They are 3 pensioners and are now distressed as their holiday isn't going as planned.
I rang the Travel Agent who said that at this time of the year it was usual that hotel overbooked but it wasn't their fault as they had booked the hotel through Room Bookers. It was like talking to a brick wall! they told me they knew about it and they were in talks with Room Bookers.
My mum and Aunty are now halfway through their week holiday and nothing has been resolved. What can I do to help this along????

It sounds as though they haven't bought a package holiday at all but the agent has booked separate parts and will claim that it has nothing to do with them. Particularly for those less able to flex their legal muscles this may not have been the best idea. If the booking is really with Room Booker and they have an invoice with that name on it, rather than the agent suddenly announcing that is who the booking is with after things have gone wrong, then you should call them on 020 8253 5142 but looking at that company's website I am not certain it is even them. If they had never heard of the company until they arrived, then the problem is the travel agents, perhaps name and shame them so we can all learn not to book through them0

I don't think you are going to be able to help this along in the here and now becaise time is passing and nothing is being done(I hope I am wrong.)
It could well be that you are going to have to do the fighting after the event, So get all the evidence- receipts, list of phone calls, photos of the place, copies of letters to/from the local agent ,all the facts etc and be ready for the fray . Not ideal. Clearly the hotel is not what was booked- different location, different room allocation, taxi fare transfer additional.
Is the travel agent ABTA?Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
