Turned Down with Marbles

Hi,

First of all which credit reference agency search Marbles?

I have applied for an Marbles Credit Card and immediately it came up as declined. The following appeared:-

We're sorry. You didn't pass our credit scoring system, so sadly you can't get marbles at the moment. You'd probably like to know more about our credit scoring system. Please click "help" for more information.

Although you weren't able to get marbles, this doesn't affect your credit rating with other companies. They may well use a different system from ours.

If you'd like to re-apply in 6 months time, we'll be happy to consider your application again.[/I]

I have received my experian and equifax credit reports and everything seems to be in order.

Also the above does provide anything for an appeal. Is it possible to make an appeal for Marbles application?

You can always appeal but they can just say no again if they feel you already have enough lines of credit already open/ you dont meet their prefered customer criteria etc

Same exactly happened with me. And they didn't even check Experian or Equifax by the way. I called them and asked them how can they turn me down without looking at my credit report. They said, we have a minimum criteria which we know from the application. If your application doesn't meet our minimum criteria, we don't check the credit report. We take into account age, time living in current address, your income and how long you are with your employer....

maybe the same happened with you...
