  • Just a heads up for anyone in a similar position......By FAR the best deal was to speak with the Bank my was already with. They offered her a much more exclusive account (not advertised) which beats all the bonds/ savings accounts that you see on comparison sites.

    If you want to put all the eggs in one basket. The FSCS compensation limit is £85,000 per person per bank.
