So they have a manufacturing plant that makes hard drives, I dont think so very few manufacturers in the world, and novatech arent one of them they are small company mainly based in SE reading/Soouthampton

They may make some products but most will be made from assembled parts like pcs etc.

    Sorry, I'm new to MSE.

Just wanted to correct you on one comment, Novatech do make their own products, they don't rebadge products, etc.

    Have a lovely day!

Novatech started out as a small shop selling computers and renting out video games. They later moved to a warehouse where they manufacture their own desktop and notebook computers, offering sales to customers both online and in-store. They sell many different products (such as Intel and AMD processors, Nvidia graphics cards etc) and have many of their own branded products. They also sell various computer software.

From the supply chain perspective, Novatech cover a wide range of areas in the chain which ranges from manufacturing to sales. Novatech are resellers from the point of selling branded products, which include Intel/AMD processors, Nvidia and ATI graphics cards etc. Intel Authorised Distributors (n.d.) shows that Intel doesn't sell directly to companies that want to sell their products, instead they go through a limited number of authorised distributors. Novatech must buy directly from an Intel distributor.

No mention of other things like I said they dont make HD if you stripped on down its probably Samsung/seagate or WD drive inside if they manufacturer it they probably most like assemble it

Of course Novatech need to use other parts to assemble their desktops, etc. Not saying that everything they sell is produced by them. They do make their own PSU, cases, screens, desktops (with a mix of other components), laptops (again with a mix of other components and their own)

I was maybe wrong on the fact that I thought they made their own hardrives, so I do apoligise for this. Further reading also revealves you're correct on the fact they "rebadge", so I thank you for teaching me something new on this cold, dark, chilly night,

It's going to be sat on your desk, does it really matter how heavy it is?
  • Only that (I presume) the heavier it is the bigger it is, and I (and I'm sure many other people) have a tiny desk!
