  • It's useful to people old dears and under 7s who want email and wordpad, but I know from experience they're slow as hell, some people, e.g. people living on benefits can only just stretch their budget to £75, and with Linux on it, it's fine, it just show that they haven't changed the laptop in 6 years!

    your not getting it

old dears , people on benifits?

this forum is to help people not give them crap for another £25 they could have got a lot better system and would make there experience more better they would want to do more on it for a good price.
If you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter ;)
  • Well if you can't afford another £25 then yes, it's useful to have someone point you in the right direction, if you have the extra £25 then good on you, but I know there have been times when I haven't and I've always been very grateful to people who say something I can have as a pose to I can't!

I wouldn't give any old dears I know one of those 'netbooks', they're that slow the stress it would cause would probably kill them! I know I get annoyed/stressed when my laptop has it's slow/crashy moments and it's 10x the speed of that piece of crap you posted.

Those living on benefits that can only just stretch their budgets to £75 can get alot more for their money than the netbook you posted as they go for just over £50 on ebay and there are far better value for money netbooks out there for around £75 that actually do their job.

Those that haven't changed their laptop/computer for 6 years will probably find their old equipment is a hell of alot faster and more reliable / practical than the netbook you posted.
  • Maybe you're right, on here I do genuinely try and help people based on personal experience and what's on the market.

And if you seriously get stressed by your lappy going slowly, then I suggest you keep a larger mixed with two shots of vodka on you at all times! (it's actually not as bad as it sounds)

I don't tend to drink vodka but I'll remember that the next time my lappy is on an off day :)

    Sorry, I'm new to MSE.

Just wanted to correct you on one comment, Novatech do make their own products, they don't rebadge products, etc.

    Have a lovely day!
