First Direct to Natwest- how long for online transfer

Hello
I opened my FD account a couple of weeks ago and so far so good- but just got the first S/O from my FD to Natwest and although the money has left FD, it has not reached Natwest (it is £450).
I have spoken to both banks and FD advised talking to Natwest to check whether the funds were there or was it just an internet glitch. I did and there is no glitch.
I have been adviced to wait for a day or two to see if it comes through (being a new account etc)- any tips? I am sure it will all be fine, but my rent money goes out on the 3rd so I need money on the Natwest account soon!
Thanks

When I have done transfers online to Natwest from First Direct it has been instant using Faster Payments. Not tried a standing order.0

Check the First Direct - Faster Payments - information from their website. It may say that for a newly setup payment, the first payment using those new details will go via a normal BACS payment (3 days) then any subsequent payments would go via Faster Payments (same day)
Edit:
The First Direct info says that Standing Orders do NOT go via Faster Payments - see LinkThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
