    Hi and welcome

Consolidation loans are generally not very easy to get hold of at the moment. Certainly don't use any loan broker to try applying for a loan.

When you say your credit is not wonderful what sort of thing are you talking? odd late/missed payments? lots of late payments? defaults? CCJs? Do you know what is on your credit files, have you looked at them at all?

How much do you currently owe on your debts and how much of a consoldiation loan were you hoping to take out? How does that compare to how much you earn?

Going an extra £2,000 in debt is not a fresh start at all, it is further into debt.

With a credit file like that, it is extremely unlikely any respectable lender would take you on, and crertainly for nowhere near £10k.

It takes a bit of work to dig your way out, the DFW Board is full of good ideas. These quick and simple Consolidation loans leaving just one simple convenient monthly payment are fortunately a thing of the past (with good reason).
