I've just come back from a weeks holiday and on arriving home a letter from MasterCare was waiting for me.
The confusion I have is my name and address is correct on this letter but I only moved 12 months ago and have never had a plan for mastercare or purchased the item its saying I've had covered for the past year!!!
On the letter it says we will keep you item covered and continue taking the payments unless you contact us. I tried to be savy and put the 0844 number it to google and it doesnt come up with anything.
The letter has soon of my details filled in but obviously the payment details are incorrect but it says to enter the new details and return the form.
I'm obviously not going to do this but is this a scam and should I notify anyone about this.
Thanks

Wouldn't hurt to check with Knowhow customer services... 08005878787 (not the right number, but it's free and they should be able to transfer you). Otherwise 0844 561 4000. If it's your details, and you can confirm them, I'm sure they wouldn't mind checking when it started, how it was started and the last digits of the bank account,Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
